KOTA KINABALU: The Warisan Kota Kinabalu Division will mobilise its machinery to help the public through the Covid-19 pandemic.
According to Warisan Kota Kinabalu Division Youth Chief Max Loo 卢唐龙 , the party was approached by the public for help and complains in the past weeks.
“We have received many complains and pleas for help from citizens and folks around Kota Kinabalu in the past few weeks.”
“Many people have been left out by the government, despite being badly affected by the pandemic.”
“They asked where is our office located because they need food aid. Some have also sought clarifications on the CMCO SOPs and various other issues.”
Max added, Warisan will continue to service the public at large, despite no longer being in government.
“The people of Kota Kinabalu especially, gave us overwhelming support in the last state election.”
“We no longer sit in the government, but it is only right to repay the trust and confidence placed in us, by not letting the people of KK down.”
“As such, we have started acquiring and distributing thousands of food packs as our first course of action.”
“I will also propose to Warisan KK Division leaders to set up a service centre in order to ease the public’s acces to us.”
He advised those who needed help to continue the division through 016-8103362 (Max) or 016-8122238 (Vivian).
